Precision Inspection respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through precisioninspection.ae and in the course of providing our inspection, snagging and property advisory services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Precision Inspection ("Precision Inspection", "we", "us" or "our") is a Dubai-based, engineering-led property inspection and snagging firm operating across the United Arab Emirates. We operate as part of, and in exclusive partnership with, Provident Real Estate.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL"), Precision Inspection is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

You can reach us at [email protected] or +971 (4) 323 3609, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

We collect information you provide directly when you request a quote, book an inspection, download a sample report, subscribe to our newsletter, contact us or otherwise interact with us. This may include:

  • Identity and contact details such as your name, email address, telephone number and country code.
  • Property details such as property type, community or location, developer, unit number, handover or preferred inspection date and any additional information you add to your enquiry.
  • Correspondence including messages, emails, call notes and feedback you send us.
  • Booking and billing details needed to confirm, schedule and invoice the services you request.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website we, and the service providers acting for us, automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • Your IP address and an approximate location (country, region and city) derived from it.
  • Device and browser type, operating system, language and screen settings.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, time spent and other usage data.
  • Campaign identifiers (such as UTM parameters) that tell us which advertisement, email or link brought you to our site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies as described in section 5.

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from Provident Real Estate group companies, from property developers or property managers where you have asked them to arrange an inspection on your behalf, and from publicly available sources.

  • Prepare and send inspection reports, certificates and follow-up documentation.
  • Manage our relationship with you, including invoicing, payment collection and customer support.
  • Send service updates, reminders (for example your 11-month warranty inspection window) and information about our services that may interest you, where permitted.
  • Operate, secure and improve our website, including preventing spam and abuse of our forms.
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal information where one or more of the following applies:

  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve our business, protect our website and communicate with existing clients, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.

5. Cookies & analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that help the site work properly and help us understand how it is used. We use:

  • Essential cookies that are required for the website, its forms and its security features to function.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

  • Provident Real Estate group. Enquiries and bookings are managed in a customer relationship management (CRM) system operated within the Provident Real Estate group, and group companies may assist us in delivering and supporting our services.
  • Service providers. Trusted vendors who host our website, provide CRM, email, analytics, IP-geolocation, payment and communication tools, and who are bound to use your information only on our instructions.
  • Developers, contractors and property managers. Only where you ask us to share an inspection report or defect list with them on your behalf.
  • Professional advisers and authorities. Lawyers, auditors, insurers, regulators, courts or government bodies where required by law, to protect our rights or to respond to lawful requests.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process information on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this happens we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection, including using providers with recognised security standards and appropriate contractual safeguards, in line with the PDPL.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In general:

  • Enquiry and quotation records are kept for as long as needed to follow up your request and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Client, booking, inspection report and invoicing records are retained for the duration of our relationship and for the period required by UAE commercial, tax and limitation laws.
  • Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

When information is no longer required we delete or anonymise it securely.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, rate-limiting on our forms and staff confidentiality obligations. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information in line with industry standards.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
